Community Cuts
Community Cuts is a new Salon Space volunteer initiative, whose mission is to give the hair and beauty professionals the opportunity to help vulnerable groups in our community through a direct, hands-on approach that fosters self confidence and overall enrichment of life. It’s a chance for hair professionals to make a meaningful impact in the community.
We will be partnering up with non for profit organisations and to kick off we are excited to partner with Fitted for Work & WomenCan Australia! We will work together to help place and prepare people to enter back into workforce. They will refer those in need of assistance to Salon Space, where we will look to offer a free haircut and blow wave to help them look and feel good before their big interview.
Who and How
We are on the lookout for hairdressers & barbers eager to share their talents and time—no membership to Salon Space required! All you will need are your cutting tools and public liability insurance.
You will be able to choose participants that suit your schedule. We’ll maintain an interest list to ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to get involved.
